Visit to BaFin and Frankfurt Main Finance Center
In DAAD Study Visit program BEU students have visited some financial institutions, such as BaFin (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht)- Federal Financial Supervisory Authority and Frankfurt Main Finance Center.
In BaFin the group were informed about the organization, its core activities and policies. And then the students were participated in seminar by Dr. Winfried A. Adam talked about integrated supervision of BaFin, its activities, such as preventing money laundering and terrorist financing, also consumer protection.
The next destination of the group was Frankfurt Main Finance Center. Andreas Glanzel, managing director of the Frankfurt Main Finance Center, welcomed the Finance students of BEU and talked about Brexit and its impacts on Germany’s economy.
In both organizations, the students asked about internship opportunities for international students, such as application process, main requirements and so on.
