Deutsche Bundesbank visit of BEU students
During
the DAAD Study Visit program students from Finance department of Baku
Engineering University have visited Central Bank of the Federal Republic of
Germany, Deutsche Bundesbank. As one of the main functions is the monetary
policy of the Eurosystem, Björn Beckmann, staff of
the president, lectured about European monetary union and policies of the
union.
During
the lecture the students are asked about macroeconomics, general information
about monetary policy, and effects of Brexit on the banks. Also they have
discussed about differences in banks and monetary policies of Eurozone and
Non-eurozone countries, especially, Azerbaijan
and Germany.
At the end Björn Beckmann informed the students about internship and job opportunities in Deutsche Bundesbank.
