Second day of BEU-Finance Study Visit

The second day of DAAD study visit program the group of students of BEU were participated in lecture about Monetary Policy which is presented by Bernd Hayo, Professor of Macroeconomics in Philipps University Marburg. The class was so interesting and about the impact of changes in interest rates to country’s economy. Students of Baku Engineering University from Finance department were actively joined the class and shared their opinions about the topic.

In the second half of the day the students were presented about The Oil Economy of Azerbaijan to the foreign students at The Philipps University Marburg. Firstly, BEU students gave brief information about Azerbaijan, its history and culture. And mainly informed participants economy of Azerbaijan, oil production, pipelines, some projects such as BTC, TANAP.

Then group of BEU students started culture night of Azerbaijan in which they demonstrated Azerbaijani sweet called pakhlava, tea and national garments, music and dances of Azerbaijan. 

During the culture night guests tasted Azerbaijani sweets, danced and enhanced their knowledge about Azerbaijan. Also, the students prepared surprises for guests they are asked some easy questions related to Azerbaijan, and are given gifts, such as some souvenirs. The presentation and culture night were created great impression on either foreign students and teachers.

The visit on Philipps University Marburg made strong relationship with Baku Engineering University.
